Faisn worked in so many disciplines, the political, the social, the biological. He wasn't even interested in the dolphin mystique, okay? That was not why he was studying them. Bateson is wanting to understand how dolphins communicate with each other. Again, he's turned away from the abundance of data that we talked about before. He wants to look at something that's not human at all.
