The VFX and the Documentary Approach to Filmmaking
Would you still use that sort of approach to make the film? I would eat there was something so cool. It helped us maintain a documentary instinct because we could actually see exactly what we're getting in the camera. Being able to have stuff that might not have been perfect but at least was a good stretch of the way there just in camera meant that we could edit these sequences pretty quickly and then have VFX polish them.
