The Unfortunate Fireflies is a story about two young fireflies that are tired of listening to everything that everyone is always telling them. They decide they are old enough to make their own decisions and set off at daybreak to explore the far side of the marsh. The two of them run into some trouble and realize that maybe everything they were told was more important than they thought.
