The Proper Stoic Shouldn't Say Something Like Um, You Should Learn to Not Care About the Boardroom

I've been thinking a lot about stoicism lately just about like reading some of this stuff And but also about like popular appropriations of stoicism. I say it really bums me out that stoicism or any of this stuff is conflated with a kind of Machismo Like being like alpha or something where you should just like be able to grit your teeth and bear it Or something like that because when you put it in those terms It's actually ruining the message Because it's still so the best parts of like these that you can find in both stoicism and in neoplatonism.
