The Power of Open Source Software as a Web Developer

All the software we ever work with for the most part is open source. There's no part of the system that I care about that I can't modify in that way. So that's a nice benefit of being a web developer instead of a developer for an Apple platform. Not only can they not have source code to the frameworks, but they can't even modify the call private functions that they're not supposed to call.
