The Risk of Climate Change Becomes a Mainstream Political Position
I do think that there's a substantial risk of this becoming a mainstream political position. It feels like eco-fascism is not part of the mainstream political conversation in the US right now, but I feel like it certainly could be. And we just don't really think of immigration and climate change as being connected. But if we ever did, there would be a substantial downside because people could come to the precise wrong conclusion by connecting those things.
