Is There a Relationship Between Therapy and Substance Abuse?

I think it's very much a VIN diagram that we're looking at and there's a lot of crossover between what is a there. I never worked with substance abuse issues specifically because that wasn't where my training and my intensive training was. Mine was much more around trauma and relationship work so that's where my focus and my expertise, if you will, was focused due to the training that I did. But depending on where you are in the process, and your degree of regulation you might need a therapist as well.
