People will expect to see that it's been cryptographically signed or have some other mechanism to make them believe that the content is real. There's already people working on this, like there's a startup called True Pick that provides a lot of mechanisms for authenticating that an image is real. They're maybe not quite up to having a state actor try to evade their verification techniques, but they'll get right eventually.
