How to Handle Stress With Mindfulness
Our fight or flight system is firing all day every day. If we are bathing ourselves with cortisol and the hormones of stress that are initially intended to get us out of harm and to survive, it affects our overall health significantly. That's why this mindfulness quadrant is so big. I start all of my days with gratitude journaling and guided meditation because I'm trying to control that gap between a stimulus that happens and my response. The sooner we can realize that and sooner we can control that, the better.
