Are We in a Jobless Recession?

The Federal Reserve's own forecast is basically saying we're going to have a jobless recession next year because the unemployment rate is going to go up. I think what they want is to minimize the damage of the job loss recession and that will be another factor to bring inflation down. That's a dangerous game to play when your dual mandate is basically labor and price stability, but we already see some of the inflation data start to cool down already. Remember, we're talking about growth rate, shelter inflation rarely goes negative.
