The Social Imaginary of a Culture
The narratives that form our understanding of christian identity may not be what we think they are. In 19 64, jugen mogman described the church as an exodus community. Exodus images can only give us a false understanding of our location. Exile is an invitation to grief and to oss exile is the realization that only in weeping can we be formed. At this point in time, don't leave yet. Without this, i don't think thereis much chance of the gospel being able to address this culture.
