The Wrong Lyrics of Jimi Hendrix
Lyrics are a real weak point. You don't trust your bandmates to do anything, including playing their own instruments. This is like the poetry of someone who realized they were not a poet and then became an accountant. I'd say 90% of this dude's lyrics sound like a teenager describing blacklight posters in a head shop. It just it would feel ridiculous to spend 10 minutes talking about that because he would say the same thing. He didn't even really want to be a singer. Maybe he was like, can you bury my vocal in the mix more please? I don't want to listen to that shit.
