The Cyborg and the Robot
I think down the middle, we can have a much more balanced way of thinking about these things following the work of people like Donna Haraway and then Catherine Hales. I mean, is that where something like the cyborg could be really useful? Yes. In the case of Neil Harbisson or Moon Reebass and the cyborg Foundation, they're individuals who don't see themselves as human anymore. They've chosen to reject the category of human. Of course, they were born human in a biological sense, but they would prefer to be called cyborgs.
