Ritualizing the Holidays

In our culture and many of our cultures, we don't have a lot of ritual. And I think many of us crave ritual. The word ritual is really about doing something on purpose with attention and focus in order to make the invisible more visible. We can create ritual in very small ways day to day or around these big annual holidays that mark time and seasons and change and growth.
