Is Wealth an Emergent Property of Exchange?
In a social network, that ball is information. We are exchanging information continuously between each other. That's what protons and neutrons do inside a nucleus. They're continually exchanging these mesons, which keep them together. And that's the rule of the fundamental forces of nature that they have to exchange mesons. So if you then have many of them, as you do in the nucleus, not just between two, but between many, that forms a kind of network of this sort of bouncing this these balls about between them.
