I think it's the programming that gets into us, how that can stick with us. And sometimes i can't protect myself from my own mind that day, and i just get pummelled. Or there are times when i'm pretty good at it. If we can do that for ourselves, for each other, i think it serves the creativity. I think it makes us better friends and better peoplesur i want to talk a little bit about instincts,. because you mentioned, in the process of recording your album, the freshness of the two takes.
