Dabbing in Canada

There was a ban on Dabbing in Canada, which existed for about five to six decades. The whole premise is that because the film industry was based out of Chennai initially, they were producing movies in Tamil and Telugu but dumping it into Karnataka. Children were deprived of watching cartoon content in Canada or some infotainment content like in the history channel or the discovery channel. After 90s, when we saw that globalization made it possible to have private television, internet came about and lots of auditive platforms started coming about. And with that, now we see that on all auditive platforms, on a lot of television, also the audio feed is being made in available in Canada
