The Corpus Callosum: A Relationship Between Emotion and Behavior
Every one of these lobes and cortices have functions that sort of cross over with one another. Brock's area for language production and Wernicke's area for understanding or comprehending language are predominantly left hemisphere. This is because we've got this connection between the two hemispheres called the corpus callosum. Now, there are individuals who had full complex seizures. They could take in signals from the world and make sense of them independently - sometimes very differently.
