If there's intergenerational poverty chances are you might not have enough to live on but neither do your parents so when you're giving care to aging parents who can't afford a home health aid for instance. It's also racially stratified I know that's kind of a sensitive topic but there is systemic racism in many parts of the world xenophobia and so that's an added layer that makes it that much more difficult for people. These are very major social problems that seep into pretty much every domain of life in the US, he says.
