Is There a Time When a Practice Begins to Shrink?

As the patient I care for have aged, my acumen diagnosing and treating certain diseases has certainly declined. Given the hoops one has to jump through to see me, my practice has evolved to cater to the more privileged and connected. It can also be an effort to remain vigilant with patients I've seen for decades. Even the hypochondriac eventually dies of something; how does it all end?
