What Does That Look Like Now?

When I was 19, I was very heavily involved in, in a lot of direct action protests and whatnot. But that revolutionary action changed form dramatically over the next 10, 15 years or so. And it really was only when Ferguson happened that I began to see how much there are when you're white that there are worlds that are hidden from you. Very few white people know what blackness is in America and that, and it was humbling because I thought I knew things so anyway,. It took me a while to get my life together after that.
