As a black man in the south, you growing up where you grew up, and even to this day, all over the country, expressing it in a lot of different ways. I just think that many people, cross many different kinds of identity locations, have been conditioned in the same way not to articulate experience. We express ourselves at intersections of identities that are both privileged and disprivileged for all of us. And we have to name that, you have to articulate, no matter how uncomfortable that work is.
