connective tissue is constantly adapting to strain each day it's remodeling in either a beneficial or unfavorable way extended periods of a little or no loading will weaken tendons and ligaments they actually get stiffer initially with a long period of rest but the turnover of collagen decreases. In a rehabilitation scenario probably doing two or three brief rehab sessions a day is ideal to accelerate the healing process as long as there's at least six hours between each of those rehab sessions we're going to get more into that end of things you know dealing with injury and rehabilitation in the next podcast.
