Around 50,000 of the Asians retain British passports. If they are British, Amin says, then they are Britain's responsibility. He employs a technicality as his justification. The accusations that Idiame made were that we weren't part of the communities. And that was one of the excuses, if you like, that were used to incite division and hatred towards the Asian communities.
