Erdogan has been able to rebuild the system around himself Tom. There was a lot of anger at the deaths caused off by buildings collapsing say hadn't been built to code because of amnesty is in the building system but also because of corruption essentially. The opposition's argument simply wasn't convincing enough when we did not see a very significant change in the vote shares in areas that were more directly affected by the work the earthquake for example.
