Overcoming Process Resistance for Depression and Anxiety

In therapy people seem to have both anxiety and depression. You often see that the outcome resistance for depression is kind of a Buddhist kind of thing it has to do with with non-acceptance there's something about yourself that that you don't want to to accept. The solution to that is to accept yourself with your works and your flaws and to lower your standards but the depressed patient doesn't want to do that because you're afraid you'll be uh settling settling for for for second best. Overcoming depression involves what the Buddhist call the great death, which means giving up on trying to be something that you're not. And so we instead of accepting our real self we keep saying I should be
