The Doctrine of the Downfall
It was debated as early as the 1530s in the Church of England. The Lutherans, they maintained a doctrine of the descent of Christ. And so that's not a bad thing. This one is not an abuse or a misuse. It advances in certain ways in terms of studying the biblical text.
