The Influence of Pragmatism on the Meaning of Life

Since the publication of Fides et Razzio in 1998, the influence of everyday pragmatism and nominalism has grown in Western culture. For many people it's not a question of whether it's true that gender identity is established in the womb or if marriage by nature involves a man and a woman. The very idea that there could be objective truths in these areas is rejected as incompatible with personal autonomy.
