Somatic experiencing uses the autonomic nervous system as a framework to process where we might be getting stuck in habituated patterns of our nervous system. Alexander technique is focusing more on the musculoskeletal system, the respiratory system and again, like movement, coordination of movement kind of application to activity. Both are doorways into that holistic picture of what it means to be a human at rest, at play, at work, all those things.
