A love seacrest, whois the new testament scholar, has written a new book that's published by ermans called race and rhyme re in the new testament. She draws on her experience and her insights as a black woman to examine the manner in which new testament texts deal with things like ethnic and racial conflicts. These kind of dynamics have been largely kind of erased in the history of interpretation when it comes to thinking about western christianity.
