CHAPTER

The Problem With Non-Locality in Quantum Physics

In quantum physics, non-locality refers to the instantaneous connection between particles or systems. This means that changes in one particle can instantaneously affect the state of another regardless of how much distance is in between them. It suggests a deeper underlying interconnectedness that transcends space and time. The holographic universe hypothesis proposes this information makes up our reality. And therefore any changes or influences on that information can have non-local effects.
