How Did You Grow Up in a Black Church?

"There is just nothing like being in a black for me, like emmy," she says. "When i go to a black church, i'm not wondering whether or not the latest social injustice is going to be spoken about." She adds that there's a great deal of safety when you're at a traditional black church.
