The Role of People on Me in Taxonomy
Getting a bunch of people together to agree on terms in one way or another is a foundational kind of activity in building taxonomy. The idea that taxonomies would magically form by themselves Out of people doing and agreeing on tags That was the part that broke down is these taxonomies didn't just done everybody just agreed and said oh boom We have a taxonomy. I always say there's three places when I'm developing a taxonomy from scratch from organization: Text enemies, glossaries and card sorting.
