How to Get Into Ketosis?

Ketosis is when you have elevated levels of blood ketones. When doing longer efforts, 100 miles or even marathons, your body is going to run out of the glucose system and you're going to need to tap into your fat stores. There's a related concept called ketogenesis, which is when your body itself is making ketones, that leads to ketosis. And then there's this concept that we have, which is exogenous ketones, which are ketones that are made outside of the body and ingested that also gets you into ketosis.
