Heraclitus, He Lambasts the Received Wisdom of the Day

Nica: Heraclitus lambasts everyone else in their learned, received wisdom as fools. He says hessiod is unforgivably foolish for depicting night as a deity giving birth to day. In heraclitus view, night has never been opposed to day. It's not sensible to speak of one without assuming the existence of the other.
