The Importance of Immaturity in Violence
The most likely time to be attacked in the most likely age for your attacker will be between the ages of 17 and 22. At about half of what we see, especially when we see shootings, 50% are fatherless young men murdering other fatherless young boys over issues of status. The only short term solution is more police and locking up repeat offenders because it's a small percentage of that population that continually repeats the same crimes but long term I think we need to have a conversation about why that's happening.
