Theology From Below Isn't Bad
"We ascribe things to God rather than letting God define things for us to understand," he says. "I think theology from below isn't necessarily bad, but I do think it's problematic when we try to define terms in this way without any kind of apophatic approach." He adds that gender stereotypes only exist because God is God and we have them as a result.
