What Is Secured by Blockchain?
The lens protocol allows you to create a profile on chain, which means that your social media profile is secured by the blockchain. So effectively it's a social graph but what it allows you to do is that it brings you the ownership of what you create and basically what social capital you form. And now it's impossible to get rid of somebody because in order to do so, you would need to co-opt or coerce all of the different node providers who are running lens protocol. The big difference is that for financial thinking like how you need security to secure your social capital, it makes a lot of sense using this network.
