How to Prove Quantum Gravity Effects With a Microscope?

The LHC is proving distances as small as 10 to the minus 18 centimeter. The length scales at which we would expect to see quantum gravity effects become important are around 10 to theminus 36 meters. So it's extremely hard to probe these quantum gravity effects, at least with the kind of experiments that particle physicists use. We don't really have any good reason to expect experimental results before that point to contradict the things you know about the world. I'm skeptical that we might imminently be able to figure out what's going on through experiment until we can build a solar system.
