Sothe, Robert Savie and the Curse of Kehama
Coleridge wanted his poetry to have a morally uplifting effect. He was really interested in some of the reports which Christian missionaries were sending back from India. Sothe's view of India is fantastical, but it's generally quite negative. And he fully supports what the missionaries are up to there.
