Do Magnetic Monopoles Exist?

Do magnetic monopoles actually exist? And is it possible for us to create them in a particle elerator or some other way? How much energy would it take to create one, if this is even a possibility? We don't know whether monopoles exist. There is, they could exist, theoreticallyob by which i mean we can construct physical theories that are compatible with all the physics that we know in the world and allow for the existence of magnetic monopoles.
