In Terravada Buddhism, you study a lot of text. The Yoga Chara view of emptiness in Buddhism is considered the base of Buddhist Tantra. There's different kinds of Tantras, and the Tantras are divided into outer Tantras and inner Tantras. In original Tantric Buddhism from India, you have the sexual images outside of the temple.
