i was privileged to be nurtured by this community of, mostly women, who had been so staunch and resolute to achieve justice. If i learned anything from people like missus parks and missus carr is s a necessity to be courageous and brave if you're going to help people get to justnat. I have never been confused about the fact that i'm standing on the shoulders of people who did so much more with so much less. And in many ways, what these women taught me was the necessity of courage.
