If somebody was exploring becoming a real estate agent what types of certifications would they need? Yeah that's a really good question so when whatever state that you are in like I said I'm based out of Illinois you study and then you take the test for that state. Once you pass your licensure exam you do have to choose a brokerage so you cannot just say okay great I'm licensed now I'm just gonna go out there and start selling homes.
