Is There a Government in the Internet?

Government dictates many different parts of the internet and what can be done on it. Government determines that only AT&T is allowed to give broadband access in my neighborhood. I agree but I'm sorry I'm being I'm not that epic you're right. There's too much financial there's too much money at stake here to create standards for these big juggernauts like Apple, Google or Facebook. It doesn't even make sense because they are all focused around growth and revenue. They want to control their own fate and have control over their own platform.
