Are There Any Types of Shoes That You Shouldn't Have?

I get asked this question all the time. What is a bad shoe? What are the good shoes? I would say there's a reason to have almost every shoe. If you've got a really flared up planter-fasher problem right now, the shoe of choice for you to get behind your runs pain three might be a pair of maximally cushioned, highly rocker shoes. But if you're not that person, I would steer away from a maximum pair of shoes because increased cushioning can mask all the feedback you get during running.
