The Risks of Bipolar Disorder in Hyperactive Children
If a parent has bipolar disorder, then you have all these risks associated with developing other psychiatric conditions. Early psychosis predicts more likely that they will develop bipolar disorder eventually. If it starts in adulthood, only 20 to 25% of them will have a negative ADHD. But if it develops in childhood, look at that super high percentage 80 to 97% will have ADHD. So the stress is the worst enemy.
