Rejoice in the Lord

Paul the Apostle tells us that we go from glory to glory and shrink to strike. The birth of Christ, John tells us in John chapter 1, is when the grace of God is revealed to humanity. It's his unmerited favor that is toward us. And so they all share these three words, rejoicing joy and grace, all share the same root word. That helps us inform our understanding of what it means to rejoice.
