The RBNZ's 25-Basis Point Rate Hike
The market is fully priced for a 25 basis point rate hike from the RBNZ this week. Some forecasters say you might get another 50 basis pointRate hike from New Zealand. And now I think, you know, whether they go 25 or 50 later this week, you're going to have one of the highest policy rates in the developed markets complex. Well, the RBA is never going to catch up, are they? You know, if it was a round, you wouldn't want it to be a race, but there's nowhere in the world you're Going to catch up.
