Men Are More Emotionally Responsive Than Women
Character assassination and gossip are primarily tools that women have used over centuries as a means to defend themselves. It's why, in work places, most women are bullied by other women. And only the mode is not violence or threats, it's character assassination. Women use the information that they get very effectively. Men have not shown that propensity, through the studies, to be as effective.
